Responsibilities will be divided into three areas of focus:
♦ Administrative Support, including troubleshooting technical difficulties, working with vendors and suppliers, organizing reference materials, attending to equipment repairs, etc.
♦ Business Development & Marketing, including supporting the sales effort, assisting with the creation and production of proposals and contracts, updating WordPress powered website with new logos and revised content, and supporting LPA social media pages on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
♦ Events Support, including assisting in event research and logistics, requesting proposals from vendors, booking and managing vendors such as photographers, florists, and transportation companies, and preparing for client and committee meetings

Fall and spring semester-long part-time internship opportunities are offered by Liz Page Associates. Interns will gain fundamental knowledge of the event planning cycle and processes. LPA provided me with a multitude of experiences, such as coordinating event details with vendors, sitting in on phone conversations about technology improvement, and attending meetings with graphic designers and rental vendors.
